For a few days ago I a little bit busy about how to connect My card IM2 broom using my Nokia 6610i as a modem, in brochure, they said if you want to connect to the internet you should buy another device call modem for GSM Card :(
so I decided to figure out if any other way to connected, I already sent them email to service center ask them [ because I already buy the Card they mention], in brochure, besides you have to buy another device your Phone Mobile must support 3G, so what if in my case, I'm using N6610i which hasn't 3G connectivity so I email them again and asking what if I have GPRS connection but NOT 3G and they reply " Yes, but still you must buy another device called Modem other wise your Mobile Phone support 3G " so...... I keep searching and reading also try another IM3 GSM card to test that GPRS in my Mobile Phone works. and guest what, It's work I can connect to the internet using my mobile with gprs connection after that I switch my card with IM2 Broom and try to connect but FAILED it's said subscribe your GPRS first. after a few day I try and the same information still appearing I decided to Regis my IM2 Broom card [in brochure they don't mention to registered the card 1st when you using your mobile Phone as A modem] in their website []. After I complete all registered form I take my IM2 Broom card and insert to My Mobile Phone and start Nokia PC Suite but first you must supply the same username and password when you register your ID on their website... WALLA... It's Work.
Note: [here is what you need to make your Nokia 6610i as a Modem]
- Your Mobile [Of course] 6610i or other's
- Cable Data CA-42 with compatible phone
- Driver for your mobile modem *.inf [you can find on web [] based on your manufactured device]
- GSM Card, in my case is IM2 Broom Unlimited
- Your done..
